Mo Leverett (2009) Shards of Light is Mo's ninth individual recording - lighter and more hopeful than previous projects. It is a soulful acoustic compilation of hymns and spiritual songs. Mo produced this one himself - in the signature folksy-bluesy stylistic feel, combined with the shoot-from-the-heart lyrics, will make the Mo Leverett fan feel right at home.

Mo Leverett (2007) Of Orphans and Kings will take you through the unique experience of the artist Mo Leverett and his spiritual pilgrimage in post-Katrina New Orleans. Through the redemptive prism that all hardship should be viewed, Mo will lead you in song onto this treacherous path towards hope and joy found uniquely in those who've weathered the storms of life. Lifted in part by the assembly of Nashville's best and most prolific studio musicians, Of Orphans and Kings is both a fresh and familiar slice of the bluesy, folksy home made musical pie we all hunger for when we slide in a Mo Leverett CD.
Mo Leverett (2005) ". . . blades of love will cut you down to size." Mo Leverett's latest CD release Blades of Love is an offering of songs that celebrate God's faithfulness to transform our lives. On this CD Mo brings together his power of poetic observation with his years of living in the birth place of Jazz. The result is a musical esplanade of rich lyrical imagery in a wonderfully sophisticated, yet accessible package. Easily Mo's most upbeat CD to date, Blades of Love bares the mark of a man who has wrestled with God, lived to tell the story, and is happy to walk away with a limp.
Mo Leverett wrote Poetic Justice to
accompany his latest,
2-disc cd release by the same title. The book is a collection of prose and poetry, brief ponderings of the themes given creative expression in Mo's music. The
vivid artwork was contributed by Aaron Collier, who will earn his Master's in Fine Arts from Tulane University in May.

In an attempt to reinvent the compilation, this 2 CD set brings together old favorites and new offerings in a sparsely produced collection. If you already own all of the other Mo Leverett CDs you still dont have what this one has. This entire project was recorded live; mostly in a cabin up on the north shore of Lake Ponchartrain. But it also includes live concerts cuts (with song intros) and five new songs. If seeing Mo Leverett in person is what you like the most about his music then this 2 CD set is the next best thing.
Mo Leverett (2002)
The topics of hope and despair have long been the subject of Mo Leveretts music, but on this CD they are brought into stark relief. As DSMs vision for ministry begins to crystallize, Mo finds himself holding hands with a community of faith who are dreaming the impossible dreams of hope and promise. But this is still a fallen world and Mo reminds us that the sinister hand of death is all too present attempting to steal from us what God has given. But in the end it is hope out of despair that is the theme of Mos song.

Mo Leverett (1998)
Once again Mo Leverett shares with us the gift of his insight. With this CD we are treated to his sense humor, to his growing love for the South, Louisiana, and New Orleans, and to the special joy that his family is to him. But it is with all the subtlety of a tire iron that Mo forces us to deal with our history of racial injustice and our need to work for a holy reconciliation. In all, we are given a photo album full of snap shots showing us the people, the places, and the topics that mean the most to Mo Leverett.
Mo Leverett (1996)
Meditating on the great hymns of faith, Mo Leverett discovers a wealth of inspiration from men and women of the past who have sojourned the narrow road of a consecrated life. Interpreting these hymns afresh, Mo adds his voice to so many before him who have invited God into their work, into their home, and into their hearts. But even the original songs on this CD resonate with a hymn like quality giving the listener a devotional treasure trove.

Mo Leverett (1995)
Written during the early years of Mo Leveretts baptism of fire into Desire Street Ministries, these songs like a flower trying to bloom out of a concrete sidewalk, express both the hard realities of life in the projects of New Orleans and the hope of the gospel that forever changes lives. Reflecting on his own mortality, Mo begins to embrace the purpose and the path of his life, realizing that this is the place where God will give him the sacred desires of his heart.
